the government use the religion to get the people together and fight for their beliefs, the use the name of the religion to get what they want from people
the Japanese govt used religion to unify its people during world war II. it worked for them untill the americans came droped two big things on two major citys of them. the govt turned shinto into the main religion and then turned it into the government so the people had to follow it. by John Liz Clara and luchi luchi
As someone famous once said "religion is the opium of the masses" we believe that the Japanese used the Shinto religion to control its people. They were coming out of WWII, so they used this as a method to bring the people together and get them to do whatever they wanted.
